Welcome to East Tennessee Herps! |
We are based in East Tennessee and we are trying to create a network for people who love reptiles. We want to bring awareness of reptiles to our communities. We are committed to helping the public realize what life would be without these beautiful creatures and help educate the public about local species and how to identify venomous and non-venomous. We are privileged to share new and old methods of reptile husbandry and care with fellow keepers and herp enthusiasts. We are striving to bring a better world and understanding of reptiles in Tennessee.
Our meetings will consist of bringing new and old business, occasional guest speakers and having members speak on topics as well. There will occasionally be food and door prizes at meetings as well as trade sessions after the meeting has adjourned. We will also have scheduled herping trips and group outings to reptile shows and expos in surrounding states. Our goal is to bring as many herp enthusiasts together as possible as this will help bring awareness and understanding to our communities. Most of all we just want others to enjoy this great hobby as much as we do. If interested in joining or to inquire about our meetings please contact Sonnie Mynatt @

Python brongersmai
Sumatran Blood python, gets around 5 to 7 ft, laying usually 18 to 34 eggs per clutch. Blood pythons have a huge girth and typically have a quite nasty disposition as babies as well as a not so nice bite. They require a higher humidity than most pythons but if handled enough make great pets.
